Description Of Work:
They installed a frameless glass shower enclosurer.

Customer Comments:
I had 4 glass companies come out to measure and quote the project.  Atlantic beat all their quotes!!!!  They measured perfectly and exceeded my expectations.  The salesman was great to deal with along with their customer service department.  The installers showed up on time and finished when they said they would.  They didn't even complain about the winter street parking in Boston.  I would definitely recommend them to others.  Thanks Atlantic! They definitely deserve an A+ rating.

Installed shower door.
Customer Comments:
We have a small bathroom with an angled ceiling on one side of the shower, so were unsure whether we'd actually be able to have an installed shower door.  We actually thought we'd need to do a shield instead.  But Atlantic Shower Door figured out a design that worked for it.
We actually never saw their workers in person.  Just left keys for them.  They communicated the design of the proposed door very professionally, were very responsive to both email and phone.  And then they installed the door as designed perfectly on the date they said they would.

It worked fine. It went well. They came when they said they were going to. They were done quickly. It was good. It was a little expensive but they are all expensive.

They installed a glass shower door for our new renovation
Customer Comments:
Great!  Their price was very competitive as we priced it with two other installers.  The sales person was very nice and informative.  Very low pressure situation.  I felt really comfortable with the process.  The office manager Liz is very friendly and easy to work with in terms of scheduling an installation date.  I would definitely recommend them.

Description Of Work:
Atlantic Shower Door installed a shower door for a 6-foot by 3-foot walk-in shower we built in our main bathroom.  The door has three panels and also required a custom cut on one side where the wall is slanted.  The shower door has all clips, no channels.
Customer Comments:
Everyone was terrific at Atlantic Shower Door, and they installed a beautiful set of doors that work perfectly.  The woman in the office was always courteous and very helpful, and the owner, Paul, came out twice to do measurements and then check to make sure they were, in his words, "perfect."  He was also very patient and always willing to answer questions.  The installers were cheerful, efficient, and precise.  We are delighted with the doors; they are truly lovely!  The only critique I could make is that there were a couple of dings to our new paint job, but those were a minor issue in an otherwise outstanding experience.

Our old stall shower door fell apart and we have been living with an ugly shower curtain.  We needed a new custom fit all glass shower door.   We emailed several companies from Angie's list and received two in person estimates and one over the phone.
Customer Comments:
Atlantic Shower Door promptly returned our call, came and gave an estimate with several options, returned and installed a beautiful custom fitted all glass shower door for our stall shower.  The shower door makes the entire bathroom special.  Very professional and top quality.  My only wish is that it was a bit less pricey.  Would I use them again?  Absolutely.

Paul came out to my house, was punctual, to quote a 36 inch, single pane, double hinged bathroom shower door.

Couldnt be more pleased. Paul is a good business person and deserves all the "A" reviews he receives. This from a person that is admittedly very pickey and hard to please.

As I indicated to Paul, I feel like most people think ASD is expensive but this isnt true at all.

I couldnt be more happy with the price and service. I'm comitted to using and recommending ASD in the future.
Customer Comments:
Paul came to quote, 2 weeks later installers came to finish the job. There was follow-up to make sure I was satisified.

Installed a frameless glass shower.  The door is mounted on a panel and there is a return panel--all glass.  I really like the look of the shower.

Excellent work.  Everything is top quality.  The caulking looks beautiful--the man left seems between the panels that are even and barely noticeable.

Description Of Work:
Atlantic Shower Door installed a custom glass shower door with two side panels. They proposed two design solutions for an awkward space (it's a relatively small bathroom and part of the shower ceiling is angled), presenting options for various materials and upgrades, completing the installation, and following up to ask if I am pleased -- and I am. The end result is exactly what I had in mind.
Customer Comments:
I contacted Atlantic Shower Door via email through the Angie's List site and w/in a day had an email reply from the company's president, Paul Prudente. We quickly scheduled an on-site visit for an estimate. He was prompt for the appointment and with submitting a formal quote via email. Atlantic was the second company from which I obtained an estimate. The first company (recommended by a friend) presented only one design solution that didn't appeal to me. Paul came up with two innovative solutions both of which were more appealing than the first company's. He demonstrated both technical and design expertise and was very pleasant to deal with, and his estimate was competitive with the first company's.

After I formally enlisted Atlantic, Paul asked if he could return to double check the angle of the ceiling to make sure his template was correct -- attention to detail that I appreciated. Throughout the process, he was patient answering my questions. The glass was fabricated and installed w/in 3 weeks of me asking them to do the work. The installation was done by "Julian" who said he had been doing this work for 11 years - and it really showed. He is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work and pays attention to the details (including cleaning up after he was finished). He also advised me on caring for the glass, what products to use/not use, etc. I am thrilled with the result -- the door, side panels, and hardware look fantastic and function perfectly. A very professional company that truly understands customer service and delivers it. Everyone I dealt with -- Paul, Julian, people in the office -- was friendly, helpful, and professional.

One suggestion: If you are remodeling your bath or shower (putting in new tile, etc.), I would recommend enlisting Atlantic's expertise before the tiling is done to make sure it will be suitable for a glass door/enclosure. My tile was already installed and fine, but a recommendation Paul made would have been an improvement.

Atlantic Shower provided us with a custom-ordered, shower door and enclosure. A combination of clips and channels. With a robe hook, pull handle, and glass shelves.
Customer Comments:
My consultation was very helpful - he gave me recommendations based on our layout, and left me feeling confident about their work to come. The glass took 3 weeks to come in, as the office told us, and was promptly schedule and installed. The look is beautiful! It is also a fully functional space as well and makes showering feel relaxing and quick. Our only pause was the slightly higher price than our original quote, which was totally worth the change. And there was a slight mix-up and our glass shelves came in a week after the shower glass. Atlantic was always helpful and accessible on the phone, too.

Customer Comments:
Atlantic Shower and Door did a great job. They came three times. The first visit the owner talked to me about the issues we were having with the door, explained my options, and we selected one. Workmen came out about two weeks later, but due to circumstances beyond their control, had to reschedule, at a time convenient for me. They arrived on time, and did an excellent job. The new door and refitted transom look terrific. The workmen were great.

Description Of Work:
Glass shower enclosure around large Roman tub (6-7 feet tall).
Customer Comments:
Sales individual was timely and efficient. The first installation was scheduled but then delayed as I had to remove a piece of wood. It took me an additional four weeks to hire another carpenter to have the wood removed and bullnosed tile installed. After having them out and watching the installation, I noticed the bullnose tile was not necessary. This cost me an additional $300 and delayed time and usage of the tub. When they came to install the shower enclosure, it was obvious that the extra work was not required. I then immediately called the office, spoke with the receptionist, gave the situation, she said the owner would back up the opinion of the original installer which I stated that they were both incorrect, and informed I would deduct that cost from the balance. In all fairness and honesty, the owner called me and apologized about the situation. He sent me a new invoice with the adjusted balance paid in full. Installers were very professional covering boots, floor, and making sure that nothing was damaged enroute to bathroom or in the bathroom. They did a wonderful job and took the time to explain everything regarding maintenance to me as well.

Atlantic installed a frameless glass spray panel for a new walk-in shower in my remodeled master bath. The price included 1/2 inch Starphire glass (which looks clear, rather than greenish), treated with Clearshield (for easy cleanup), 4 polished chrome clips, delivery, and labor.
Customer Comments:
Everyone at Atlantic was professional, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. They made an initial visit to take the measurements and walk me through the different decisions I needed to make, and then delivered and installed the glass three weeks later. Positive experience from start to finish.
